MAC Liberty of London: Beauty Powder: Summer Rose

This is one of two Beauty Powders released with the Liberty of London collection. Summer Rose is a repromote, originally included in the Rose Romance collection of 2009. It is a really pretty cool, rosey-mauve shade that goes on sheer but can be built up with a heavier application. It is neither matte nor shimmery, but creates a nice subdued glow. For those of you who might be new to this product, Beauty Powders are more versatile than blush (and more expensive than blush at $25 vs. $18.50 in this collection). Depending on the shade, they can be used as highlighters, eyeshadow, or anywhere on the face. In my opinion this particular shade is best suited to be used as a blush, though.

I like the whimsical packaging
