Shades of Green

As a follow up to yesterday's St. Patrick's Day post I decided to pull out all of my green makeup. Although green can be a very difficult color to pull off, I have quite a few items which I use occasionally. Here they are roughly separated into different categories: Olive/Khaki & Sage, Light/Medium Greens, and Teals (I know, not really a green, but more like green's cousin?). Dark greens can be a lot easier to wear than bright greens, but just about any shade can work if the rest of the face is kept very neutral. I like to use golden shades to complement olive and khaki, and it's fun to experiment with a black base, like NARS Zardoz, underneath pigments and lighter greens and teals.
