LORAC Little Black Palette

Here's a look at Lorac's Little Black Palette. This is a palette of four baked eyeshadows and a travel-sized eye primer. These are all very shimmery shades, but can be toned down if diffused with a fluffy blending brush or, if you prefer, you can achieve a metallic look by applying with a flat brush or fingertips. Included is a light, neutral champagne that can be used all over the lid or for highlighting, a gorgeous peachy-gold, a warm, orangey-bronze, and a nice, neutral chocolate brown. The peachy-gold shade is almost identical to Lorac's Serenity shadow (shown compared to Jemma Kidd's Vintage here), but is slightly more peach-toned, than gold. This is my favorite of the bunch.

These shades are all very pigmented, with a smooth texture. I don't use primers often and haven't tried this one yet, but look forward to giving it a go soon. Overall, I really like this palette and think the colors are versatile and work nicely together. The only drawback might be the packaging, which is nice-looking but does take up more space than your average quad. The Little Black Palette is available at Sephora for $32.
