Too Faced Naked Eye Palette

This palette has been out for a while and on my last few visits to Sephora I stopped by to visit it and swatch the one shade I could not get out of my mind: "Lap Dance". Under the bright store lights it looked so pretty and complex: a shimmery midtone purple-gray-silvered-taupe with a bit of a pinkish tone in certain angles. I searched the rest of the Too Faced line to see if they had a comparable single eyeshadow, but alas they did not. So, although I am not a big fan of the bulky, paper box packaging, I went ahead and got this palette because overall it has a great selection of versatile, neutral shades. I like the convenience of having a black shadow included to use wet as a liner on its own or dry over pencil liner. It also comes with three handy little cards with helpful diagrams for the makeup challenged. :) Can't wait to try out the three main looks!

It has a little pull-out drawer with a sponge/brush -- would prefer to do without this feature to cut down on package size, since many prefer to use their own brushes anyway...

Below are swatches of the three base colors: In The Buff, a matte eggsehell, Birthday Suit, a low-shimmer beige, and Pink Cheeks a very pale, satiny pink

Below left to right: Pillow Talk, Like A Virgin, Satin Sheets, Unmentionables, Lap Dance, Stiletto

Below are swatches of the shades used for the three looks included on the enclosed instruction cards:
 "Day," "Classic," and "Fashion."

Have a great weekend!
