Above is OPI's Quarter of a Cent-Cherry in bright sunlight. In real life it is much darker--closer to what you see in the photo below, taken in shade. As its name implies, this color is similar to the deep, rich red of dark bing cherries.
Today's pedi is China Glaze's Lubu Heels--which could be considered the vampy, wicked step-sister polish to the beautiful and sparkling red Ruby Pumps. This was released back in 2007 I believe. For any of you who haven't tried this one, it consists of red glitter in a sheer black base and requires about three coats for full opaqueness. The end result is black, with the red glitter only being apparent at certain angles when the light hits it. With a generous application of Poshe topcoat, it is mega-shiny and really quite pretty! I thought I would spare you the questionably-attractive photos of my toes ;-) and give you a swatch instead:
Have a great weekend!
