NARS Delphes shadow trio and Pago Pago lipstick

Hope everyone is having a great week! Here is a closer look at the NARS Fall Collection Trio Eyeshadow Delphes ($45) and Pago Pago Sheer Lipstick ($24). I wore the trio yesterday to work and it creates a very soft green smoky look. The grey is quite sheer, but does make a nicely diffused crease color. The peachy-champagne is useful to add a bit of sparkle and brightens up what could otherwise be a rather somber look (I experienced some fall-out with this one, when I used it without a base). The sage green shade is definitely the most pigmented of the bunch and has a finely milled texture.

Top liner is MAC's Eye Kohl Phone Number & bottom liner is Sephora Nano Eyeliner Soft Brown
Mascara is Make Up Forever's Smoky Lash

  1. Gorgeous!
That trio looks fabulous with your eyes. I almost bought Pago Pago but I still think that it may be too cool for me and that's why I bought Bahama (deep nude pink) Matte Velvet Lip Pencil instead.

Ugh but now I'm thinking about how I can make Pago Pago work for me.

  2. This trio looks so pretty. A bit too safe for my taste! LOL. I like bold looks but I can see this as a perfect everyday go to work make-up.
I like the lipstick too...very natural.

  4. Hi Lexi, Thank you! :) I've always read that green eyes look best with purple but it's fun to wear green once in a while. Pago Pago is pretty cool - I am not in love with it but it's a nice everyday shade or perfect to wear with a stronger eye look :) I will have to check out Bahama next time I'm at a Nars counter :)

Hi Mercedes, you're right, it's a bit safe (except maybe for those who only wear neutrals) I usually go for deeper/darker shades, so this is a little different than my norm, especially the green :)

Hi Annie, Aw, thanks! It is a nice nude-pink and can see using it as an easy, every day sort of shade :)

  5. Gorgeous! Those colors were made for your eyes, seriously. It's kind of like day-time smokey. And, the lipstick looks perfect with your coloring. :) xxx

  10. Hi Katie, It's nice for a soft look, but you can layer it over a really dark eyeliner to make it more dramatic :)

  11. Would love to see a closed-eye photo so I can tell what the trio really looks like on!

  13. How did I miss this post? Delphes looks wonderful paired with your complex eyes; I wasn't sure how the sheer colors would pair together but you've definitely made it work here! I think I might like this better on you than Grand Palais! (Though they are two different beasts, and both look nice)

  14. Hi Dovey, Thank you! I think I like it better than my Grand Palais look, too! Although I plan to experiment a little more with Grand Palais to see if I can come up with some more interesting looks Have a great weekend! :)
