A belated Happy Independence Day!!! You take the most fantastic pics! My dog HATES fireworks ( spends two days under my bed after New Years! ) & I always worry about all the poor birds that get frightened out of their nests & don't find their way home in the dark. I'm a bit of a fireworks party pooper but that certainly looks very PRETTY from afar:))
Thank you Buggsiebee! Yes, they are so frightening for animals - the poor things have no idea what's going on. These fireworks were incredibly loud & I wasn't even that close (was using a zoom lens). :)
I love 6, 8 and 9! I love fireworks, in my hometown (in Spain) we have a holiday dedicated to fireworks and it's quite known in Europe as the Nit de L'Albà. However, my dream is to one day go to NY and watch the 4th of July fireworks while sitting in the middle of Central Park. That must be pure magic! :)
Oh my goodness, how on EARTH do you do that?? I will try and try to take pics of fireworks and they NEVER turn out. Looking at yours is like experiencing them all over again. Beautiful. You really know how to capture a moment :)
Hi Becca, Thanks so much :) - I used a zoom lens and realized too late that they were all coming out closer than I wanted, but I only brought one lens with me! Sometimes you can see more smoke than fireworks lol
Hi Maggie, Thank you very much! I was a few blocks away from where they were set off, but I could smell all of the smoke! All the while being eatin' up by mosquitos lol So pretty to watch though :)
Wow, wow, wow! These photos are absolutely amazing! No matter how hard I try, which camera I use, I can never capture the look of fireworks the way you have. I really enjoyed scrolling through these! :D
Thanks so much Blog Rince! :) It is difficult to shoot photos at night because if the camera moves even just a little they come out blurry! I had to delete quite a few that were no good!
Awesome photos - I hope you had a great holiday. We don't go out for fireworks - our daughter is still too young and she's not a fan of LOUD noises! :)
Thanks Lexi! Hope your holiday was great! I know what you mean about loud noises - my nephews weren't a fan of loud noises when they were little either. These fireworks were very loud! :)
Wow, I love these gorgeous celebratory firework pictures. It's nice since I didn't get to see any myself :)
ReplyDeleteHappy July 4th!
Thank you Dovey! I got lucky this year -- I was able to see these from only a few blocks away from my home :) Happy 4th!

DeleteWow, these are INCREDIBLE shots. It's almost like being caught up right inside the fireworks, somehow.
