I was excited to see that Guerlain has revamped their iconic Kiss Kiss lipstick range this fall, introducing twenty-five new shades in a formula said to contain lip-plumping hyaluronic acid spheres, hydrating Commiphora Myrrha oil, and mango butter. They retail for $37 (which almost seems affordable when compared to the $51 Rouge G).
I chose only one shade--#366 Fall in Rose--a lovely peachy-pink, tea rose shade. I thought I might get the most use out of this one, as it is the sort of color that is not overly bright or dark. But for those who prefer a bolder lip there are quite a few other gorgeous options to choose from.
I wore Fall in Rose today for the first time and found the formula to be comfortable and moisturizing, with average wear time. It has a soft fragrance, but nothing too offensive. This particular shade does not have any obvious shimmer, but I noticed that it does provide a flattering luminosity, which helps to give the illusion of fuller lips.
As you can see, this is a subtle shade. I am fairly pale and this is quite soft on me, but does provide some color. For those with darker skin tones this shade might come across as more of a nude.
